PROFESSOR MICHAEL SARTAIN

Since his early teen years, starting with his father Gene Sartain's family band (Gene was coincidentally David's 7th-9th grade concert band director), Mike has played in, composed for, and directed countless ensembles and continues to do do. Mike studied teaching with David at PGSORM for years and then under David at Rock'n'Roll Academy since 2008.

Mike teaches guitar, bass, drums, vocals, composition, and directs and plays in the duet and trio ensembles.

Some other groups you might have seen him with are Pleasure Thieves and Glinting Gems B Squad on the drums.
